OCTOBER 2010 FYI October is the tenth month of the year in the Gregorian Calendar and one of seven Gregorian months with a length of 31 days. The eighth month in the old Roman calendar, October retained its name (from the Latin " octo" meaning "eight") after July and August, after Julius and Augustus Caesar respectively, when the calendar was originally created by the Romans. In common years January starts on the same day of the week as October, but no other month starts on the same day of the week as October in leap years. October ends on the same day of the week as February every year and January in common years only |

This fund raiser is a way to support your local hospital and to appreciate the gift of music. This year we are featuring Braden Fox (international entertainer), Mathew Van Vooght (winner of the BC Junior Talent Search for the 13-17 age group) and the popular cappella chorus Soundscape. The Kay Hogg Auxiliary group will also be selling the Joy of Music lotto tickets, winner to to drawn at the concert. First prise is tickets for two, anywhere in the world of West Jet.
